What stands out:
- Memphis, Milwaukee and New Orleans lean female in nearly every age group.
- The male-leaning cities are mostly in the West (San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Henderson) plus Detroit, and only among voters under 65.
- The gap is biggest among voters 65 and older, where every city leans female.
Caveats:
- These are shares of registered voters, not of everyone living in the city.
- The 18–29 counts look unusually low for Milwaukee (8,282) and DC (12,786), so treat those young-voter figures with caution.
I ranked the same 50 largest US cities (by number of registered voters), counting only voters aged 21–33 recorded as male or female. Women outnumber men in most of these cities. Only 7 have a male majority in this age group, so places 8–10 on the men's list still lean slightly female.

- Milwaukee, WI: 60.1% female (10,801 women, 7,163 men)

- Nashville, TN: 56.3%
- Memphis, TN: 56.3%

- Milwaukee (17,964), Madison (10,793) and DC (30,652) have unexpectedly few voters in this age group for cities their size. Treat their rankings with caution.
In the 20 cities with the most registered voters, there are 4,811,965 registered voters aged 21–33 recorded as male or female. Of those, 2,539,675 are women (52.8%) and 2,272,290 are men (47.2%).
- San Jose, CA is the only one of the 20 with more men in this age group: 50.6% male.
- Milwaukee, WI has the highest share of women (60.1%), but treat it with caution. It has only 17,964 voters in this age group, far fewer than other cities its size.
- The other most female-leaning cities are New York City (54.8%), Philadelphia (54.2%), Chicago (53.6%) and Charlotte (53.0%).
- The most evenly split are San Francisco (50.7% female) and Columbus, OH (50.7% female).
